A special artistic shout out to artist Chris Deschaine and reader and
shaman John Sacelli who teamed up to create one of the more interesting
and popular rooms, populated by the tarot deck they jointly developed.

Big kudos to Devorah and Jerad, both skilled artists who developed their first tapestries for this event. Both were acclaimed and both took only one week to do the tapestry, and they had never done one before.

BTW a little history about the tapestries in the main stage room. The tapestry directly over the dj booth was created for the first psychedelic trance party ever in San Francisco in 1988 I believe, and I was told has been to Goa and several other countries for a myriad of parties since. It was brought by Blue Spectral Monkey.

OOPS: AN EXPLANATION OF THE SOUND PROBLEMS AT 3 AM

To allow max people to see Spunn's fire dance, the sound had to be lowered, because the big door had to be raised. If we had maintained the same volume we would have gotten instant noise complaints. We had not had time to figure out a way to let people know what was going on, and some people who did not realize that Spunn was performing then left without knowing what had happened.

Our apologies to DJ UZI whose set was disrupted by this.

Our apologies as well to Spunn for the cramped space for fire poi. The venue rented out the remainder of their lot to commercial trucking, which means we were by contract confined to the much smaller area around the venue doors. Which sucked, but it was what we had to work with.
